11th July 2010,
I left Stemlife not even two week.. so fast having a small gathering... wahaha i think they miss me so much.. wahaha.. 死要脸.. Breakfast with Xue Ying, Kent, Sun Vee, Nick, Pick San and Yen Ting. Dim Sum place is just in front my house therefore all gathered at my house first. We sit there eat & chit chat.. Finish eat then all went back home already. Me, myself was also very tired cause just finish my friend wedding the night before and a bit drunk.. :P
Anyway, Looking forward the next gathering on 30th July 2010.

Today is to set up our booth. I'm the earliest to arrive, around 10.30 am... We are MALAYSIA GUPPY CLUB, booth number 317.. beside Discus Society Malaysia.. come pay us a visit.. it is fun.

Ok.. lets start.. those boxes is the aquarium for the competition.

Then come our big boss Helven (middle), on the left is YS from taiwan, on the right is Yap "Galactuz" (senior member) . In the luggage is the competition fish.

After the morning section (tea section), too tired... took a short nap.. after lunch.. start "work" again.. My task is to bring the presents for bingo game and also 15 bottles of Chivas .. ooo.. almost forgot, still got Ronald's laptop... My sister told me to meet at the ballroom at 3pm.. but we are 15mins late.. hehe cause we(me, Raymond and Ah Xian) went to Sri Petaling to eat cendol.. wahaha..

Sister's Wedding - Morning section

29th May 2010, woke up at 7am.. i was planed to wake up at 7.30am but don't know who .. (i guess my dad) knocked knocked knocked my door at 7am... :(
After brushed my teeth and bathed, of cause first thing to do is to go and peek my sister see how things going on. She woke up much earlier than me, the make up guy came at 6am .... O.o

Ponnn ponnn ponnnnnnnnnnnnn...... 8.30am sharp.. haha.. i still in my sister room.. Here come my duty.. that i waited long long long time ago.. =,= but the "expected" angpao money have deducted, for sponsoring my sister new home LCD TV. So don't "wat" my angpao money to treat you all eat.. but "wat" my pocket money can lah.. haha

hmm.. my sister "ji mui"(best friends & relatives) turns... they been planned for this long time too.. they even had a meeting section night before.. so professional .... i should have took picture for that.. sorry busy entertaining guess that time.

There were 4 sections, each section have their sub group...
First section.. Front Gate..
Groom have to carry by his bro to neighborhood to get their wishes.. they have to get 5 wishes from 5 different neighbor in order to pass.

Next task.. a piece of card board.. groom have to write "I love Amanda"... sound easy right... haven finish... write with the mouth... emm not really write.. is kiss... but the lipstick not directly apply on the groom.. it has to apply on the groom's bro first....... from the groom's brother then only transferred to the groom... some how it doesn't happen.. haha they played cheat.. they directly apply the lipstick to the groom.. and just manage to kiss " I love(heart shape).." the lipstick spoiled.. so "Amanda" is written by hand.. Our gate keeper kind enough to let them pass through.. but of cause need to give ANGPAU... haha Section 2,
They have to finish 5 roll of bread within one song.. haha.. they only got 8 brothers how to finish.. so failed.. give ANGPAU...

This section was to test their sing skill... test if they remember the lyrics ....... but once again they playing cheat.. use iphone to online search for lyrics.... so guys.. remember to bring smartphone.. be smart okie...

Last section.. too clouded and hot here.. hehe i just hide in my room to enjoy the air-con... haha.. i just know the groom have to soak his leg in a pail with ice and water to get the key to open my sister room.. then there was a rules and regulations agreement stocked on the wall for the groom to sign..

28th May 2010, home buffet for friends & relative. Hehe... i didn't help a lots on that day, cause i went to do my last minutes shopping for the next day wedding shirt.. :p 5pm only reach home..

Recommend this store for those who love vinegar pork very much.. hmm not many guys really like vinegar pork included me.. so frankly speaking, i didn't try if before, but my mom, sister, their friends who love vinegar pork all are like crazy ask where u bought it.. so i guess it is really nice.. Go try.. it is located along Jalan 1/144a, near the junction to plaza phoenix. It is actually a Chicken rice shop, off on Monday.

Nagomi.. it look nice.. i love the design inside.. and quite a lots of people dinning there too.. for me, i will choose to try Nagomi first.. but not this time.. cause i went there is actually attending Ern Huei's wedding, i just walk around to search for bread (too hungry)... so try it next time.

Malabar palace - not sure what food they serve, sorry, no time to find out.
At first i thought it was Hong Kong style cafe.. it is actually a steamboat restaurant.

Ern Huei & Pevin Wedding dinner was on 22nd May 2010.

It was held in Restaurant Grand Imperial, Sri Hartamas Shopping centre. Me & Yen Ting went there earlier caused Yen Ting was helping Ern Huei to take care the reception desk, she in charged for the guest from Stemlife Bhd.

When we arrived, Ern huei was on the stage having tea section "Zhum Char" to... no idea... parent or relative i guess.. ^^

Finally Guest started to arrive... but before that i already shopped around the mall to search for somethings to fill my stomach.. Hungry mah!!!... :P i bought a hogdog bun with cheese from breadstory.. Yum Yum..when u really hungry all the food should taste good ...

17th May, 12noon received an sms from Amanda (my sister) , "what time u eat lunch? Mum n dad with me now", which is the very first time since i working for about two year. Yea, why not.... My parent were around KL area where me and my sister also working in this area therefore i just need to get ready and jump up to the car. My sister brought us to Restaurant Passion Road, which also located in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. There wasn't a lots of parking space for the restaurant, in the end we park along the roadside, luckily the street wasn't the main street, not much car pass through, so it should be all right "i guess"... This is my first time having lunch here although been working here for two years.. shame on me.. i just heard my sister telling me nice, set lunch very cheap & etc. Some of her marriage photo also took from here .. Finally i got the opportunity to experience myself.
When i first arrived, it was hardly for me see the restaurant if my sister didn't tell me... cause the building was surrounded by plants and some huge trees. When i step into the front gate, there was a large tree deco with lots of love.. which look nice.. please refer the picture below, but according to my sister that they do change the deco, so don't be disappointing if you couldn't see any... :p cause there are still a lots more things you can explore there. Lets see what i have snap... sorry if the picture wasn't very clear.. cause didn't expect to have lunch in such a nice place, therefore didn't bring camera along, just using my Sony Erricsson K810i.

So.. Nice place right??

But unfortunately there is a bad new those who thought to dining there. Cause the restaurant operate from 11.00am – 6.00pm (last call: 5.15pm), but don't get disappointed too. Cause the night section is only open for big event for example like wedding, annual dinner, birthday party... etc.. but the detail i not very sure... if u interested can try they website --> Passion Road to check out.

May 8th 2010, Mother's Day eve, and it was also my birthday eve. Celebrating my birthday together with my gang (best best friend)... T.T... touching... we have been celebrate birthday together for .. hmm 8 years TOGETHER.. hope forever yah....

I gathered at Shereen's house and went along with Ronald, Maggie & Shereen while others met at the restaurant. Maggie already made an reservation in Kissaten, IOI Boulevard at 8.00pm(Thank you!!! Maggie Lee..). It is located opposite IOI mall, puchong. Quite lucky on that day, very fast we found a parking without wasting our precious time.. hehe...

Kissaten is one of the restaurant in IOI Boulevard. It serve western foods like steak, pizza, spaghetti and Japanese food example like udon soup, katsudon, saba fish set. There are open air which is along the corridor and if you think is hot outside there are also indoor which got air-con .

Basically the food was okay .. the salmon pizza was nice... the price was also reasonable but just maybe that day was mother's day eve... lots of people and caused the service extremely slow and quite a mess. The waiter & waitress keep repeating sending the same drink & food again and again.

Bukit Cahaya Agriculture Park, Shah Alam

May Jean, Kent and Shin Ru are our main priority guest to hang out on the 2nd of May 2010, before they went back to Singapore and JB. Me and Yen Ting have been squeezing our brain to come out an idea of what special things can we do on that day.. in the end dunno which stupid (^.^...me) think of having cycling trip at Shah Alam coz i also haven't been there before.
Sunday morning, sunny, is a great day for outdoor activity. The trip was planned to kick start at my house at 8.30pm(alrd consider late) but some how, dunno how.. 9.30am only depart from my place. Plus being FFK by Kent & Xie Ying (Agrrrrr)
After picked up Shin Ru at kinnara (Christina's new house) everyone were shouting for hunger especially my big boss LEE MAY JEAN "ma ma fan fan". Then we searching for food in Bandar Puchong, opposite IOI mall. We have our breakfast in a DIM SUM restaurant.
Here are some of the dim sum we ate.. the food so so only and the service are also slow slow only.. so don't want to recommend to you all..

Before we depart i surf the net for the map cause i not very familiar with the road in Shah Alam, but the map was very of confusing. Thanks god!! Sun Vee got his GPS phone to guide us there... I think this map would be better...Direction

From Subang, take the Federal Highway toward Shah Alam. Go past the Batu Tiga toll.
At the Bulatan Melawati (where Tesco is), turn right into Shah Alam. This is the third turning after the toll. You should see a signboard for Taman Pertanian Shah Alam.
You will come to a large roundabout with traffic lights. Go straight (12 o’clock).
Keep on going straight until you come to traffic lights, then keep on going straight. At the traffic lights you will see Concorde hotel and Plaza Masalam (IC department / Giant) on your right.
Keep on going on the long road and look out for signboards.
The entrance will be on your right. When you see a block of flats start keeping right and turn right at the traffic light.

In the end reached there around 11.30am with the bright hot sun on top of our head. Lining up to buy entrance ticket.

Suggestion

Bring a map or GPS if dunno how to get there, coz really not much sign board.
Go as early as possible... just race with the bright sun.
Carry as little things as possible.
Bring towel and extra cloth.
Took bus to travel around instead of cycling.. really tiring.

Coz of working plus raining n traffic jam.. arrived at the restaurant kind of late .. but luckily didn't miss out anythings.
Through this wedding, we were like having gathering for ex- stemlife lab staff at the same time. May Jean, Kent & Shin Ru came all the way from JB and Singapore to attend the wedding dinner. Unfortunately Haw Yee last min got things to going on cannot make it, if not it would be nicer..

The earth have survive billions of years without man kind but we can't survive without the earth. Have you play your role in saving the earth??? Everyone please start take action before everything is too late.

Switch off any electronic devices which not using.
(hope to be more in the future)

Although there might be little things but if everyone could follow it do means a lot.

Chunky Loaded Pizza, Pizza Hut

Last night have dinner with friend in mid valley. Plan to have pizza for dinner... hmm at first thought to go for Italiannise but at last end up in Pizza Hut.

Every time having the same pizza kind of bore. After discussed with my friend, we decided to try somethings new.. which is Chunky Loaded Pizza.. we ordered the set of two which came with 2 soft drinks, 2 mushroom soup, 4 pieces of rectangular garlic breed and a regular chunky loaded pizza. The pizza could either choose chicken or beef. We order the chicken cause i didn't take beef.

The bottom is very crispy base but have to eat when it's still hot, if cold alrd is kind of hard.

Personally opinion : I still prefer classic original Hawaiian Chicken !!!

Genting Half Day Trip

Been awhile didn't travel, with me, Pick San & Yen Ting having the same offday, we decided to have a half day holiday to Genting... with Tian Chad & co0incidently Pick San's friend Kelvin from kuching, Sarawak(now working in Singapore) came to KL.

Since i'm the organizer and also the driver... i decided to leave as earlier as 7am to avoid the rush hour... but somehow this & that.. we 15min late.. but luckily still not that jam in MRR2. We reach Wangsa Maju to pick up Pick San around 8am and had our breakfast at market there... Wan tan mee.. long time didn't breakfast there already.

We transit to cable car at Gotong Jaya, due to weekday, not public & school holiday. We didn't even need to queue which is nice.. wahaha.. if free even nicer.. but unfortunately nope.

Our purpose of this trip is to 吹吹风 and sit there having a cup of nice Starbucks coffee. Just wanted to relax and enjoy. 真所谓人生有多少个十年。。

We bring along Kelvin to walk around the park & First World hotel. We didn't enter the team-park because lack of time and maybe everyone seem to be growth up and mature (except Tian Chad, cause he been ask for IC, wahaha) already, we entered casino.

Starbucks coffee was the last stop, we only manage to sit there around 20-25min only.. cause i wanted to have our lunch at Gotong Jaya

Present.. nothing special except from working, reach home, eat, sleep & working again.. boring right...(except off days... hehe...), therefore i try dig out some of the pass memories for everyone... recall back some of the liveliness pass we shared... although some of you might not share the same pass with me but i believe there are more or less similar with yours... hope it can bring out so cheers... Hope the pass happiness memories could brought back to present.

I would like to start with M4D2 first... Although it was just a short period, but it hold a lots of joy. For those who don't know what really M4D2 are, it was born in Ktar, Pre-U on May 2004, it was a one of the three group divided from the Biotechnology course May intake 2004. I still remember the first person i met was Choon Kiat.. hehe.. don't wan to talk more boring stuff... let the picture bring out some joy.

Tanjung Rambutan buffet bbq & steamboat - Gathering (10th April 2010)

First Round,
It have been awhile since last gathering with uni course-mate. Therefore me, Pick San & Hui San decided to have a gathering on the 10th of April but unfortunately Hui San couldn't attend(oversea)=.=. No worry!! I believe the next one will on its way.
Me and PickSan have been thinking where to have our gathering for weeks.. hmm at first thought to hold in Mid Valley coz like more centralize for everyone... but... like nothing special. After reading Tian Chad blog... we decide to go t Tanjung Rambutan buffet BBQ & steamboat at Kepong, although a bit far.
At first i thought only few people going, the word "Gathering" meant to be lots of people sitting & chit chat together right... therefore i ask some of my friends to join too, and for those who have boyfriend n girlfriend are welcome to bring along(Pick San & Rou Zhing).. =P

Second Round,
We left Tanjung Rambutan buffet BBQ & Steamboat Around 10pm. We changed to another location to yum cha and chit chating (coz the story got no end). Kuek brought us to Moe De Cafe in Menjalara, Kepong. The cafe is full of people, but one things very lucky with us were we don't need to wait to be seated. Just nice a large table waiting for us and it fit well with 10 of us... ^^

The Moe de cafe is the combination of anime/manga style into a cafe concept. All of the waitress were uniformed with different costume and of cause all the waitress are pretty too.

Pretty waitress taking our order.. able to take a few shots. Nyek nyek nyek!!!We just ordered drinks cause everyone was fulll.. Brubrr.. Opss.. sorriiiHaiz.. the most noisy one have to leave early.. 无义气

Jung Won korea BBQ restaurant

For those who love for Korean food, Jung Won is a nice place to be... the environment is comfortable and the price i think is quite reasonable for Korean BBQ.

A rabbit running around the area.Dining in natural environment compare with concrete wall makes the food taste difference.
